Product Description
Injection-moulded polystyrene Petri dishes with a tight-fitting lid that allows gas exchange while minimising contamination risk. The smooth flat base ensures an even agar layer.
Sterile (E.O.) versions: For bacterial and fungal culture, antibiotic susceptibility testing (Kirby-Bauer), environmental monitoring. Gamma or E.O. sterilized, individually bagged.
Non-sterile versions: For weighing, dissection, specimen display, soil science, chemical reactions, photography of specimens. Not suitable for microbiological culture without re-sterilization.
Applications (sterile): Bacterial/fungal culture, agar plate preparation, antibiotic sensitivity testing, environmental monitoring. Applications (non-sterile): Weighing powders, specimen dissection, general containment, chemistry.
