Product Description
Octadecyl (C18) bonded silica is the most widely used SPE sorbent. The long hydrophobic alkyl chain provides strong reversed-phase retention for a broad spectrum of non-polar to moderately polar analytes. The 17.6% carbon loading and 300 m²/g surface area ensure high sample capacity.
Typical applications: - Pesticide residues in water, fruit juices and beverages - Drug residues in urine and plasma - PAHs and petroleum hydrocarbons in environmental matrices - Antibiotics and hormones in food and feed
Method: Condition with methanol → water; load sample; wash with water; elute with methanol or acetonitrile.
