SPE Cartridge Carb-GCB, 500 mg / 6 mL

Graphitised carbon black (Carb-GCB) has a flat graphitic surface that selectively retains planar molecules such as chlorophylls, carotenoids, and planar pesticides via π-π interactions. It is indispensable for QuEChERS cleanup of highly pigmented matrices.

Applications: Chlorophyll removal in vegetable extracts (spinach, herbs, tea), planar pesticide retention/elution, dioxin fractionation, PCB cleanup.

Note: Planar pesticides (e.g. hexachlorobenzene, certain triazines) are also retained — elute selectively with toluene if needed.
