Product Description
Bare silica provides strong normal-phase retention through hydrogen bonding and polar interactions. It is widely used as a first cleanup step to remove highly polar matrix interferences (pigments, sugars, salts) before reversed-phase analysis.
Applications: PAH fractionation, fat-soluble vitamins in oils, lipid class separation, polar pesticide retention from lipid-rich matrices.
